After a long day of learning about career paths, the Youth Lab participants were ready to cut loose at the Talent Show and Block Party. I was too busy running this event to take pictures but I did get some photos of the performances after the talent show which included a very energetic performance by gospel-rap artist K-Mor and a performance by the Youth Lab Choir:
After the Talent Show, it was time for the Block Party, with DJ Honor Roll on the 1's and 2's:

Day 2 of Youth Lab involved the kids splitting up into different career paths. I stayed in the CEP Auditorium with the Career Path dedicated to Agriculture Leadership and Communications. In this Career Path, students were instructed to create a marketing campaign for goat meat. Valerie took several photos of the kids participating in this activity:
I also took a lot of great photos of the kids at work:

Today I will be posting photos taken by myself and our excellent 4-H volunteer Valerie Queen at Youth Lab 2015. Youth Lab is an event held every summer at Prairie View A&M University and gives the kids a chance to experience life on a college campus and learn about all the exciting career paths they can study at Prairie View A&M.
We arrived on campus on Monday and after checking in, eating lunch, and spending some free time in the gym, everyone made their way to the CEP Auditorium for the orientation. Here are photos Valerie took at the Orientation:
And here are mine:
I also got a couple great videos:
