I have been at a CEP training this week in Houston, TX and among other things we had the chance to learn about 4-H Robotics.  Here is what I cam up with using the Lego robotics kits, see what you think:

It was our first day back for the 4-H After School Photography Club at Fulmore Middle School and we had 16 students attend!  I showed off the cameras we will be using and taught them how to take selfies using a tripod and the self-timer.  Here are some shots, including a couple of great group photos taken with the self-timer:

Travis County 4-H is looking for volunteers to help out at the NAMI Walk to be held on Saturday, September 24th.  We need volunteers to help fill water bowls for the dogs that are participating in the walk.  This year, we have been asked by the organizers to assist at the watering station just south of the Capitol Building on 11th Street.  Water will be supplied by the NAMI Walk and I will bring the dog bowls, but please bring a bag of doggie treats if you can.  If you are interested in participating, please email me at Nathan.Tucker@agnet.tamu.edu

The walk starts at 9:30 AM, and they have asked that we arrive by 9 AM.  We should be done by 11 AM at the latest.  Free street parking should be plentiful at that hour.  Please see the map below for the location:
