Today at Fulmore 4-H Photography we went on a walking tour along the green belt.  I taught how to use the time value setting to adjust shutter speed and we tried taking photos of a waterfall.  I also tried jumping over the creek but somehow ended up in the water!  I think there is a photo of that as well taken using sports mode.  Here are the highlights:

Today at Galindo we experimented with the Super Vivid setting on the camera which really brings out bright colors that "pop."  We went out and took some photos of the chickens.  Highlights below:

Today at Fulmore Middle School, we took a walk down to the green belt to take photos.  Spring is in the air, so along the way, we had plenty of great opportunities to take photos of flowers in bloom.

I would like to share with you the flyers for the East Austin Garden Fair which takes place on Saturday, April 8th.  Bethany 4-H will be out there promoting the 4-H program and giving out popcorn.  Hope to see you there!

Bethany 4-H will be hosting a photography workshop taught by professional photographer James Bruce on April 1st, from 11 AM to noon.  The workshop is open to all registered 4-H members.  You can bring your own camera and I will also be bringing cameras that students can borrow for the workshop.  Additional information is on the flyer listed below:

Today was the first day back from spring break at Fulmore Middle School and we had a couple new students join us for the CEP 4-H After School Program.  We took a trip down to the green belt to take photos, and I brought along a Canon Rebel camera with a zoom lens so they could play around with that.  Here are some of the photos they took:
