July 26, 2018

Today was day 3 at Youth Lab 2018 and we took a field trip up to the Texas A&M campus.  We took a walking trip of the campus and a couple of the kids used cameras to take photos.  I also got some shots:

To close out the second day of Youth Lab 2018, the kids did a rocket launch exercise and then took a trip up to the solar observatory to learn about what they do there.  I got some videos of the rocket launch and some photos of the observatory:

On day two of Youth Lab 2018, we got up VERY early to take a trip down to the Johnson Space Center in Houston.  I passed out cameras to some of the students, including those in my group and one from my county, so they could take photos to document their trip.  I also took a bunch of photos myself.  We saw a lot inside the museum and also took the train tour out to Rocket City for even more photos.  It was an informative and educational day, and here are some of the many photos we took:
