For our first day back from spring break at Galindo Elementary we took advantage of the beautiful weather to go out and take photos outside the school.  Abril also experimented with a zoom lens and Daniel took some trick shots.

Today was the first day back from spring break at Fulmore Middle School and we had a couple new students join us for the CEP 4-H After School Program.  We took a trip down to the green belt to take photos, and I brought along a Canon Rebel camera with a zoom lens so they could play around with that.  Here are some of the photos they took:

This week at Galindo 4-H, we have been working on Storyboard photos.  A storyboard is an image made up of three smaller photos and a minimal amount of text that tells a story.  So far, three students have had the chance to compile their storyboards, and I would like to share them with you.

Today, I gave a lesson on perspective for Galindo 4-H and we practiced by taking photos that play with perspective, including using high angles (bird's eye) and low angles (bug's eye).  Ricardo also used the scene modes to get saturated colors in his photos:

At Galindo 4-H, I gave a presentation on lighting, and we practiced by taking photos outside the school on a rather gloomy, gray day.  Here are the standouts:
