Today at Galindo 4-H, we finished Lesson 4 of the Take A Stand! curriculum by completing the consensus pizza activity.  The students learned to work together to build a consensus and they did work together to make their pizza.

At Galindo 4-H, we were happy to discover today that our scarecrow seems to be working!  There was no swarm of grackles in the chicken coop.  There were, however, some mice, but that' a whole nother story!

Today was a big day for Galindo 4-H.  We have been dealing with a grackle problem here at the school for some time, the problem being that grackles keep sneaking into the chicken coop to eat all  the food.  In order to remedy this, the Galindo 4-H Club would like to introduce you to "Scary Larry" our new scarecrow friend.  We designed and put him together today, with some help from the local Lowe's who dedicated supplies and labor to make the base of the scarecrow.  Today, the kids put the scarecrow together, and they had a lot of fun at the same time!

Today at Fulmore 4-H we continued our lesson on still life photography by taking a walking tour along South Congress and getting some photos in the Mi Casa store.  We also got shots along the way.  Thank you to Mi Casa for letting us take photos inside your store.

Today at Fulmore 4-H we practiced taking still life and macro shots by going on a walking tour of the neighborhood around the school plus we got some cool shots of the school's Day of the Dead display.
