Today was the Green Apple Service Day at schools throughout Austin.  I was at Brooke to help them out with the work they were doing in the school gardens.  There was a large number of volunteers helping out, including children and adults.  I worked with Mr. DeSanto in helping to reinforce the raised beds with cinder blocks because the wood in several of the beds was beginning to collapse.  I also took pictures of the other projects that were going on.  It was a great day of service for the community!
