It has been a somewhat dramatic week at Galindo 4-H with the chickens.  We had a chicken that somehow got injured under its wing and was bleeding quite dramatically.  We are not sure exactly how it was injured but suspect it may have hurt itself on the fence.  The good news is that the chicken appears to be well on its way to recovery, but just to make sure things are ok, we did clean the wound yesterday, and the kids had a good time helping out their chicken friend.
