Extension 4-H State Photography Contest - Entries due July 31st, 2026

The PVAMU Extension 4-H State Photography contest is entering its sixth year.  Be a part of the fun by entering up to three photos into the contest by the deadline of July 31, 2026.  This contest is open to youths who reside in the state of Texas and were in grades K-8 in the 2025-2026 school year.  There is no fee to enter this contest.  For more information, please contact your local PVAMU 4-H agent or the contest coordinator, Mr. Nathan Tucker at NETucker@pvamu.edu or click this link to enter the contest. 

Blanton Elementary Summer Camp - June 12th and June 19th

It was super cool!  I loved it!  It was really cool and fun.  Sadie took a picture of a flower.  James took a picture of a kid in black and white.  Wyatt made a short of himself with two pictures.  Sydney and Geneva took pictures of Mickey and an elephant.  We took pictures in the garden.  😆💩😏👽💕📸

Blanton Elementary Summer Camp - June 5, 2026

We took pictures in the garden and in the classroom.  We took pictures of flowers and people and we even got the "Let Your Love" grow mural.  Some people chose to take pictures of the goats.  It was very good, very good!  💀👍💩📸

Allison and Govalle Elementary Summer Camp - June 2nd, 2026

Today was our first day doing 4-H photography at summer camp.  We took pictures outside and inside.  Zoi thought some of her pictures were good.  It was good and pretty!  Her favorite one was the light, which she calls the eyeball.
