Finally, a flashback to our very first meeting of the school year with Brooke 4-H After School:

December 9, 2014

For our final meeting of the fall semester, Brooke 4-H was once again hard at work in the school gardens.  We helped to water the plants in the raised beds as well as claiming one of the beds as our own to use for planting in the spring.  We also took advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures to take group photos by our new raised beds:

This was the second meeting of the Brooke 4-H After School club and today the kids completed the Junior Master Gardener activities "Hamburger Plant" where they draw their concept of what a hamburger plant would look like and "Supermowing Machine" where they design an incredible new lawn-mowing machine.  They also explored the school gardens and took pictures.  Here are the results:

This months' meeting of the Bethany 4-H Club convened at the Barton Creek Farmer's market where the youths explored the art and fresh produce for sale.  They also took photos of the event and I would like to share the highlights of these photos with you.  It was a fun way to host a 4-H meeting and was a nice deviation from our standard meetings at the church.
