I wanted to share with you this flyer for a conversation on school changes to take place at Brooke Elementary.  There will be discussion of potential school closings, which may affect Brooke Elementary.  As Brooke Elementary has been an important part of the Travis County 4-H family for years, I thought it was important to share this information, as this is a chance to make your voice heard if you are concerned about the school closing. 

Travis County 4-H Council Meeting on September 16, 2019

At  the Travis County 4-H Council meeting on Monday, September 16th, the council held a trashin fashion program and they also participated in a community service project to create dog toys for dog shelters.  They had a lot of fun with this and I got pictures:

September 14, 2019

Today was the annual Green Apple Service Day at Brooke Elementary.  We had plenty of staff, students, and community members out to help us clear out the garden beds and get them ready for the new school year.  We also did some painting and there was a community meeting regarding the future of Brooke Elementary.  As usual, I got plenty of photos at the event.
