It was a great day at Galindo 4-H! We had our last meeting for the school year and I gave out the ribbons for the photography contest. The kids did great in the contest, and they were happy to get the ribbons! See you next year!

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the SALE-LE cohort at the State Capitol. We met with several elected officials, including the agriculture commissioner and the comptroller. I also met with elected officials from here in Travis County including staffers for all of our state representatives and state senator Kirk Watson. Overall, it was an educational and motivational experience. Here are a couple of the group photos that we took at the event with Comptroller Glenn Hegar and several state representatives:
