We're getting down to the nitty-gritty at Fulmore 4-H Photography to enter the County 4-H Photography Contest.  Next week will be the final week to take photos before the contest.  We had a new member today and to introduce him to the program we took a walking tour of South Congress and got plenty of photos along the way.  Turns out CJ really likes to take photos of cars and other types of vehicles:

This was the last day for the Brooke 4-H After School Club for the school year and we spent our time working in the beehive outside the school.  Mr. DeSanto made sure the kids had their bee suits on and the smoke going strong before they went into the hive to do some work.  As I didn't have a bee suit, I took photos from a safe distance:

Today for Galindo 4-H, we once again visited our friends the chickens who live behind the school to get some photos.  We also revisited our trick photos lesson, and Daniel took a photo of the ever-elusive Slenderman.

Today for Fulmore 4-H Photography, we went all the way over to Rivers and Reefs Pet Center on South First to get some photos of the animals.  The friendly folks at Rivers and Reefs were happy to show us their cat and let the kids take photos of the fish.  They were also happy to answer some questions that Lena had about geckos.  Here are some of the photos the kids got:
