The Travis County Sheriff's Office hosted the first annual Family Field Day at Mueller Lake Park and invited members of the community to come out and participate in activities promoting a healthy lifestyles.  Agents, volunteers, and members of Travis County 4-H Clubs came out to run a booth at the event.  Our booth included a bean bag toss and a mock food challenge.  Members of the community also had the opportunity to learn  more about the 4-H program.  4-H members took photos of the event.  Here are some photos of the bean bag toss and the mock food challenge:

My final day in DC involved trips back to the Smithsonian as well as the Washington Monument.  The convocation was over by around 1 PM so I had most of the day to see sights.  I also stumbled upon a protest in support of the Falun Gong movement in China.  I was told that this movement faces serious oppression by the Chinese Government.  Members of congress spoke at this well attended event at the Capitol.

Today I manned the Prairie View A&M booth at the exhibit hall, but I still had time to take a few pictures and meet a very friendly squirrel before the awards banquet.
